Andy Carroll has picked his ideal five-a-side football team from players he played with in Mail Sport’s quickfire questions, with some shock names involved.<\/p>\n
Carroll burst onto the scene at Newcastle before joining Liverpool in January 2011 for a then-mouthwatering \u00a335million, where he played with the likes of Steven Gerrard, Jordan Henderson and Luis Suarez.<\/p>\n
He also went onto feature for the likes of West Ham, West Brom and Newcastle again and currently plays for Amiens in the French second division.<\/p>\n
The former England striker also disclosed the hardest player he played with in his career, naming a former Reds defender. ‘A couple of times he came smashing through the back of me in training and we had a little argument,’ he said.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Carroll also detailed his hilarious first purchase when he knew he had ‘made it’, his thoughts on rugby and what advice he would give his younger self.<\/p>\n
